Grandma's Best Loved, Handed Down Recipes

Feather Your Nest

Grandma's Best-Loved, Handed-Down Recipes!

Dear Friends,  Welcome to a Special edition of Feather Your Nest!  Around our neck of the woods, these days are somewhat grey and rainy with temps slowly going down.  It's a great time of year to have hot chocolate and a cozy fire when te kids get in from school.  Then, whip up a steamy pot of soup for supper.  How do you fill these early fall days?

With a fresh new school year ahead of us, we've got so much to celebrate with you!  First up is our brand new cookbook.  Grandma's recipes...and what's  not to love?  Everyone knows that Grandma's dishes were   the best-loved of any in the recipe box.  These tried & dishes are the ones that have been handed down from one generation to the next.  Include simple hand crafts, too!

Let's honor these special ladies in our lives.  Introduce us to YOUR grandma...share a photo or memory, or both!  We can't wait to meet her!

There is a special lady, Michelle Cross Sears that gave us our first craft idea from her Granny Rosie!  Thank you so much, Michelle!

Thanks for joining us for another edition of Feather Your Nest...stay warm and dry this month.

Here's to a great fall and winter ahead!
Betty & Ed

P.S.  Want to hear something special next month?  Post your note here and give us your suggestions for September's Feather Your Nest...we love to hear from you!
